Appellants Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts ("LMHR"), Nomura International, plc ("Nomura"), Juergen Bartels, and Meridien S.A. ("MSA") (collectively "appellants" or "counterdefendants") were joined in an existing lawsuit by LaSalle Hotel Operating Partnership, I, L.P. ("LaSalle"). They bring this interlocutory appeal challenging the trial court's order denying their special appearances below. For the following reasons, we reverse the trial court's order and render judgment dismissing LaSalle's claims against each of the appellants for lack of jurisdiction.
